HitFilm Movie Essentials is locked to MAGIX NLEs. I'm not sure I'd bother installing it, though I would register it. Most of Movie Essentials is redundant or not useful. Ignite Express is full of Redundancy and stuff that is generally more distracting than practical. The only free plug-ins I think are worth installing are NewBlue Prime.

You can upgrade to Video Pro X for $149 off of FastCut, IIRC.

For that, you need Sound Forge Pro 10+, or upgrade to Sound Forge Audio Studio 13.

Sound Forge Audio Studio 12 doesn't do surround.

VEGAS Pro only auto-detects Sound Forge Pro - not Audio Studio.

Make sure to go into settings and set Sound Forge Audio Studio 12 a the Audio Editor in VEGAS Pro.
