You can, however, download and install the emulator on your Android device if you meet the requirements and see how it performs. Like all ambitious projects, ample patience is required. That being said, MonoNX is a nascent project and needs a plethora of development before it can even boot a modern Nintendo Switch game. Even then you will only be able to run some early homebrew such as the first libtransistor tests. You will need a device that features either an ARM64 or a 64-bit x86 processor. Moreover, not all Android devices are supported either. Android hardware is currently nowhere near as powerful as a decent gaming PC, which is what is needed to play Switch games on YUZU or Ryujinx. This multi-system frontend serves as a one-stop-shop for retro games emulation on various platforms ranging from Android through the Raspberry Pi to the Nintendo Switch, of course. RetroArch is among the most famous software for emulators out there. However, don’t expect any miracles any time soon. One emulator to play them all: RetroArch.
The idea behind MonoNX is the same as its PC counterpart- to be able to run Switch games at a decent frame rate and other homebrew software. Ryujinx is of course not as popular as YUZU nor as capable but it still a Switch emulator for PC. However, the emulator hasn’t seen much progress in the way of development lately.
